Terms of service

Use the scanner as a readiness aid — not as tax, legal, audit, or government certification.

These terms are a practical startup version and should be reviewed by a UAE-qualified lawyer before paid production use.

Core terms

The important parts, in plain English.

1

Nature of the tool

PreClear is a data-analysis and detection aid. It helps identify invoice-data, master-data, field-mapping, sequence, VAT-calculation, and workshop-readiness blockers from files you provide.

2

No professional advice

Not a substitute for professional legal, tax, accounting, audit, ASP, MoF, FTA, or compliance advice. Outputs are automated suggestions and must be reviewed by qualified professionals before decisions are made.

3

No accuracy guarantee

We do not guarantee 100% detection accuracy. UAE e-invoicing rules, PINT-AE specifications, ASP validation criteria, and tax-authority guidance may change. Results depend on the quality and structure of your data.

4

Your responsibilities

You remain responsible for invoice-data and master-data accuracy, client authorization, confidentiality, professional review, tax review, ASP communication, and final compliance with applicable e-invoicing regulations.

5

Browser-local privacy by default

The default scanner processes data in your browser and does not upload raw invoice rows by default. If you contact us or buy a paid pack, limited metadata may be collected for support, billing, and product improvement.

6

Refund guarantee

If, after a paid Single-Client or Urgent Express scan, the tool finds fewer than 5 material blockers as defined in our current rules, you may request a full refund within 7 days. It does not apply to monthly partner plans or enterprise deployments, and is not a promise of compliance, penalty protection, or savings.

7

Public beta & payment control

The current static build does not provide enforced paid accounts, online checkout, server-side export locks, or automated contract acceptance. Paid work should proceed only after a separate written agreement, invoice, or approved payment flow.

8

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid for the relevant scan or subscription period. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive losses, including penalties, failed workshops, or lost profits.

9

No warranty

The tool is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10

Updates & discontinuation

We may update rule packs, pricing, features, exports, disclaimers, or the website at any time, and may pause or replace parts of the tool — especially where regulatory, ASP, or security requirements change.

11

Governing law

These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, with disputes subject to the courts of Dubai, unless a separate written contract states otherwise.

Professional review recommended before paid launch

Before accepting online payments, subscriptions, or enterprise deployments, these Terms, the Privacy Policy, refund wording, pricing claims, and marketing claims should be reviewed by a UAE-qualified lawyer.
